They have community centers in South Lebanon and a new center on 22 & 3 that serves the Little Miami area. They focus on kids and do a fantastic job!

Church Venture Opportunities 
There’s always a place for you to serve at CV!

1. CHOOSE A TEAM THAT INTERESTS YOU

If you haven’t done so already, please check out the Volunteer Opportunities below. Once you have an idea of where you would like to serve, please complete the Volunteer Interest Form, and email located after each description. You will then receive a job description and the leader of the group will contact you.

2. COMPLETE A SHADOW EXPERIENCE

After you express interest in a Volunteer Team, you’ll be scheduled for your Shadow Experience as a volunteer. The Shadow Experience is designed to assist you in finding your volunteer “sweet spot.” It includes a brief orientation to Church Venture and the opportunity to explore your new Volunteer Team.

3. COMMIT TO VOLUNTEERING

At Church Venture, the initial commitment period to a Volunteer Team is three months. We ask you give it that much time to decide if it's a good fit! If not, we can help you find that "sweet spot". Most of our Volunteer Teams are on a bi-weekly or monthly rotation. However, your commitment will be based on your specific team.


Propresenter Operator

Commitment: 3 hours a week, Sunday 8-11

If you love how words and graphics enhance the worship experience, you'd be a good fit for this ministry position!

The ProPresenter Operator run lyrics and videos for weekend services from a Mac computer. Essentially, this person is responsible for what goes on the screen. Training Provided.

Guest Services

PARKING LOT, GREETERS, HOSTS, CAFE

Commitment: 2-4 hours a month, Sunday AM 9-11

Want to be part of creating a lasting first impression for the guests of Church Venture? The Guest Services Volunteer Team provides opportunities to accomplish just that in multiple ways, whether through one-on-one conversations right out front or even in roles behind-the-scenes.

Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS

  • Wants to talk to our guests!


Commitment: 1-2 hours a week

Our videographer will aid in the weekly filming, audio syncing and rendering of the video or audio announcements. May also assist with special projects as needed. If you are skilled in any of these areas let us know!

Qualifications/REQUIREMENTS

  • Working knowledge of camera operation and/or sound. Experience in Premiere Pro is a bonus!

Videographer


Commitment: 10 hours 3 times a year

There are many One-And-Done projects that happen at Church Venture such as Mother’s Day & Fourth of July Cook Outs, Concerts, Room Renovations, and Informational Campaigns. We need someone who can work with a staff member to get a single task accomplished from start to finish. As a Project Manager you would work with a team of helpers to accomplish a specific task by a specific date.

Short Term Projects


Commitment: 1 Hour per week, Maybe 2 if a project pops up

This is a behind the scenes role! You’ll never have to be on stage! You won’t have to fix it yourself but you will need to make the phone call to get it fixed, or find the person at Church Venture who can repair it. Learn how to set the thermostats, stay on top of building use issues, and work with folks who can get things done!
